Kolkata: The Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee is always ready to make her state employees happy, not only in terms of increasing the Durga Puja bonus but also the Durga Puja vacation. This year before Durga Puja she gave continuous surprises to the state employees.
On Thursday Banerjee held a conference with the State Government employees at Kolkata’s Nazrul Mancha.
While addressing the employees Banerjee, herself gave a pre-Durga Puja vacation plan to the employees. From next year onwards the state government declared the Durga Puja vacation from Panchami which will be followed by this year also. Following this year’s Durga Puja dates the employees will be getting 13 days vacation from 26th September to 9th October. On a same way the employees will have vacation of total 16 days in the upcoming Durga Puja.
On the conference the CM also declared that from January onwards the DA has been hiked by 15%, which reduced the percentage to 39%.

Earlier the state Government has also raised its employees’ bonus by Rs. 200 and salary advance by Rs. 1000.
