Howrah: Domjur Police has unveiled a part in Bank worker murder case who works for loan recovery. The mastermind and accused Sheikh Samsuddhin has been arrested. The head and the two hands of the brutally dead bank worker have been recovered by Domjur police.
The loan recovery agent of a private bank has been brutally murdered in Howrah on Thursday. After murdering, the killers severed his head and limbs from the body and dumped them at different locations in and around Domjur in Howrah. Police have so far been able to retrieve his body.
The deceased has been identified as Partha Chakraborty (27) of Chakdaha in Nadia. He was employed as a loan recovery agent of a private bank at Salap in Howrah. Partha Chakraborty used to lodge with friends in a room.
According to a missing diary lodged by roommate Sankhadeep Manna, Chakraborty went out to recover loan installments from five customers in different places of Howrah.
Till about 1 pm he managed to collect about Rs 3-lakh from four customers and was to visit the fifth. It was then that roommates found his mobile phone switched off. As Chakraborty didn’t return till late in the afternoon, the roommates lodged the missing diary.
Later in the evening, residents of Makardaha village at Domjur informed police about the sack by the road from which blood was oozing out. Police went and were stunned to find a male body with its head and limbs missing.Police started investigation.
