Life imprisonment awarded to Malala-attackers


Islamabad: The goons who had attacked nobel peace prizer Malala Yousufzai have been awarded life imprisonment by an anti-terrorism court in Swat on Thursday.

In September 2014, these 10 militants behind the attack on Malala and two other school girls were arrested. The militants had admitted that Tehreek e Taliban acted under the instructions of their commander Mullah Fazlullah.Malala Yousafzai, Shazia Ramzan, and Kainat Riaz were attacked by these militants. Malala was shot in the head for campaigning for girl’s education.

Along with India’s Kailash Satyarthi, Malala Yousafzai received the Nobel Peace Prize for risking their lives to fight for children’s rights.
