Barrackpore: Rejecting all allegations by Suvendu Adhikari, Congress leader Adhir CHowdhury directly challenged chief minister Mamata Banerjee. While speaking to media while attending an old case at North 24 Parganas’ Barasat court, Adhir lashed out at Mamata and criticised her harshly.
Adhir challened Mamata saying, “I will be happy if the CM contests against me from any constituency in Murshidabad.”
On the state government’s present planning of teacher recruitment, Adhir said, “This is not recruitment of teachers, slaves are being recruited. Just the way civic volunteers have been recruited instead of the police, due to which everyone will be enslaved.”
Adhir also said, “Either there are students and no teachers or there are teachers but no students. We were telling this till date. After staying in power for 7 years, why was the CM alarmed suddenly? Actually when election comes, then Modi or Mamata remembers all good works.”
