Lenovo To Launch S5 With Snapdragon 636 SoC And 6GB RAM


New Delhi: Lenovo is all set to launch of its latest smartphone – Lenovo S5 on March 20. The smartphone had been already in news via several leaks and it has also appeared in official teasers from the company.

As per the latest teaser, the smartphone is expected to take on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Lenovo executive Chang Cheng uploaded a teaser on Weibo that reveals that the Lenovo S5 will not only come with Artificial Intelligence for select features, but the AI will also be integrated within its OS.

If features and specifications are concerned then Lenovo S5 will feature a metal unibody design and a fullscreen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone could be powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with 6GB RAM.

For photography, the smartphone is expected to have a dual camera setup at the back with an inbuilt portrait mode with bokeh effect and face beauty mode in the camera. For security, the smartphone is said to have a Face Unlock feature, in addition to the fingerprint scanner and backed by a large battery which could be a 6,000mAh capacity battery.
