A video of JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar, who was arrested on sedition charges earlier, has gone viral on social media. This video is being called clinching proof of Kanhaiya raising seditious slogans in the Jawaharlal University (JNU) campus. In this video, Kanhaiya is flanked by Umar Khalid, who’s now being called by the Delhi Police as the mastermind of the anti-India, pro-Afzal event at the university on February 9 but Forensic experts who examined arrested JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar’s video made it clear that it is doctored. Is this new video truly clinching proof of sedition charges against Kanhaiya or is this just an attempt to spin what really happened?

Left front In Bengal lost its ground totally. They have no new faces, heavyweights to stand in Upcoming poll. The alliance between Congress and left front may be the necessity. In this current situation of ups and down left front discovers Kanhaiya as their new face. The present political context, it is extremely essential to campaign with heavyweight to make ground for the election win. The Left front may not be revealing its cards about Kanhaiya, but as the BJP has stoked up the national-versus-anti-national controversy, the JNU students’ union president is expected to be drawn into the poll arena as a campaigner. In Bengal Trinamool already announced their candidate list but left front have no hurry to unveil the candidate list. Is Kanhaiya’s campaign only being the sword of the election poll to cut opponents throat.

The JNU is also the ground of leftist where Sitaram Yechury, Prakash Karat came from. But one question was raised that where was Kanhaiya when left front survive for the fittest. is Left front ignored him before the JNU issue. The Left front was also well aware of that Kanhaiya had some role in Bihar vote when he deleverd mesmerizing speeches in Begusarai.

In 2003 Left front unveiled Qutubuddin Ansari, the traumatic face of the Gujarat riots, for election but after some month he returned his home with his own money. Because he didn’t get publicity as Left front wants. Is Kanhaiya’s arrival may change the equation in Bengal? We will have to see how he works out. Is he rejuvenating the Left front in Bengal? Or His fate matched with Qutubuddin Ansari? Should the stardom Kanhaiya give the comrades reason to rejoice? All questions will be answered in the due course of time.
