Bengal Polls: Left Unveils Election Manifesto


Kolkata: Left Front has finally released their election manifesto. Biman Bose, Front Chairman, released the manifesto on Sunday afternoon. Biman Bose said, “We got many suggestions on our rough manifesto in our website. We kept in mind those important views, and incorporated them in our final manifesto.

Left, as a democratic and secular force has made 18 promises. They have stressed in the need to arrest all Saradha and other chit-fund scheme owners, associates and refund all money to the investors. Besides releasing the manifesto, they also announced 5 names of candidates who are in poll fray. Also, they replaced a candidate in a seat.

On 8th March, left front posted their rough manifesto in their website—it was made of 12 pages, after suggestions it was amended into a 16 pages manifesto; which was finalized and released today.
