Lashkar may target temples of North India


New Delhi: According to fresh inputs from the Intelligence Bureau, the Lashkar-e-Taiba may conduct terror attacks on six North Indian sates. The intelligence agency has advised the state to be on high alert. According to sources, the Lashkar terrorists may conduct strikes at various temples of North India. In the lift of targets, several important temples feature.

The states where the attack may be carried out include Rajasthan, Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Preadesh and Gujarat. They have also planned to destroy some historical monuments according to intelligence reports. All the six states are being brought under heavy security blanket. Search is being conducted at the various borders of these states. Apart from the state police the army has also been asked to be ready to face any situation.
