Lashkar-e-Jhanvi commander killed by Security forces

Islamabad: Security forces killed a commander of banned terror group Lashkar-e-Jhanvi along with one of his aide during a raid on a hotel in Quetta, capital of Baluchistan.

A senior police official said that the man has been identified as Usman Saifullah Kurd, the mastermind behind various suicide attacks and bombing at mosques belonging to Hazara Shia community in Quetta.

A security personnel was also killed and three others were injured. Kurd had escaped from a jail in the Anti-Terrorism Headquarters in the high security zone of Quetta cantonment in 2007.
