Colombo: Indian bowlers have cast their spell on the Sri Lankan Batsmen at Colombo on Wednesday. Winning the toss, Sri Lankan captain Angelo Matthews opted to bat against Virat Kohli's men. But as Virat had earlier mentioned that bowlers play a crucial role in winning test matches, the Ashwins,Bhajji and Mishras did not turn him down. Sangakkara and co were caught in the spin web and the Lankans were dismissed for a humble total of mere 183 runs. Captain Angelo Matthews played a crucial knock of 64 to be the highest scorer of the lot Dinesh Chandimal was the second highest scorer with 59. Ravichandran Ashwin claimed 6 wickets and Amit Mishra claimed 2 wickets.
On the other hand, team India lost two wickets with the score of 128 at stumps. Shikhar Dhawan (53) and Virat Kohli (45) are batting at the crease. Lokesh Rahul (7) and Rohit Sharma (9) was sent back to the pavillion by Prasad and Matthews respectively.
