Patna: Younger son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad, and Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav, 26, is Bihar’s most eligible bachelor it seems.
Tejaswi is in a fix after he issued a WhatsApp number for villagers and people to send in their complaints about the condition of roads. He made the number go live in July last year and since then he has received more than 44,000 marriage proposals.
“Out of 47,000 messages received on his number, 44,000 were personal messages proposing marriage to Yadav. Only 3,000 were related to road repairs,” a government official said.
According to the authorities, girls are going head over heels as the proposals came from across the country for the cricketer turned politician. Ladies sent him their full personal details such as their clans, academic qualifications and family background.
My clan is greater than your yet I’m ready to marry you,” read one of the messages, Gulf News quotes. “If you like me, then you will have to solemnise the marriage in the temple since my parents are too poor to welcome the marriage procession,” another girl texted. “I have been bowled over by your innocent smile and leadership quality.”
