Patna: RJD chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday termed the NDA as abunch of fascists and also added that the public will teach them a lesion in the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls.
“NDA is a gathering of fascists. It is still far away from power, yet the true character of its leaders is coming to fore. They accuse others of ‘jungle raj’, but themselves talk about breaking the chest of the Chief Minister. The public will teach it (NDA) a lesson in the upcoming polls,” Prasad said before leaving for New Delhi.
He said so while reacting to Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) President Arun Kumar’s statement at a press conference of NDA allies held on Saturday in which he had said that the people of his caste were not wearing bangles and they will break the chest of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar if he deliberately victimised arrested JD(U) MLA Anant Singh and his associates.
“This is not a pre-1990 Bihar. All poor and downtrodden are united now. They will foil the evil designs of NDA towards the state and its people,” Prasad added.
He also attacked expelled party MP Rajesh Ranjan and Pappu Yadav who has formed Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) and the leaders of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) including former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi terming them ‘Mir Jafar and Jai Chand’ saying that they have crossed over to destructive forces.
“They were hypocrites who were with us till yesterday and pretended to be supporters of social justice. Today they are with NDA, which now thinks that they have gained an edge for the upcoming polls, but the public will not let them succeed,” Prasad added.
