Kumble To Take Team’s Responsibility From Wednesday


Bangalore: Team India will start their practice in the Bangalore National Cricket Academy, before setting for the West Indies tour Team India on June 29, under the leadership of the team’s new head coach, Anil Kumble.

In a press conference, Anil Kumble said that he will take up his responsibility as the head coach of Team India from Wednesday, that is, on 29th June, officially.

The cricket team’s practice session will be held from 29th June to 4th July.  The team would set for their scheduled Caribbean tour for playing a series of four test matches. On Wednesday, Team India’s selected members for the Caribbean tour would be joining for practice.

Anil Kumble would have a discussion with the new selected players on Wednesday. Sanjay Bangar, batting coach would accompany Kumle as his co-partner to the Carribean tour. Abhay Sharma would also go for the test series as a fielding coach. Abhay Sharma had played Ranji Trophy for the Delhi and Railways.
