Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party candidate of Asansol Lok Sabha Constituency, Babul Supriyo has mocked Chief Minister Mamaata Banerjee by singing a song when talked to a news channel.
After media came out with exit poll results. Most of the results showing that Modi-led NDA government will retain in power with majority.
Talking to the news channel, replying on the prediction, Supriyo sang a song for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Extending his comment, he added that, “many people were talking Maha-gathbandhan. But people chosen Narendra Modi as their leader by casting their votes. Talking rubbish could not be fruitful for gaining the minds of common people.”
Soon after the exit polls, Chief Minister and Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee wrote in her official Twitter handle that, “I don’t trust Exit Poll gossip. The game plan is to manipulate or replace thousands of EVMs through this gossip. I appeal to all Opposition parties to be united, strong and bold. We will fight this battle together.”
Replying to media on this, Supriyo sang, “Kuch Toh Didi Kahenge, Didi Ka Kam hain Kehna. En Sab Baton Mein Kabhi Beet Na Jaye Raaina.”
Another exit poll result said that Babul Supriyo will lose in Asansol. After seeing this, Babul Supriyo tweeted that, “Don’t Worry. every Exit poll has Margin of Error which is a complete ‘Galti se mistake.’ I am confident that I’ll win.
