New Delhi: With an aim to accomplish vision of Modi led NDA Government in the field of renewal energy, Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra (KBSK) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Punjab based ‘The Punjab Workshop Co –Operative Industrial Society Limited.’
As per the MoU, KBSK would work with the Society for the work of the installation of solar products under various schemes i.e. MPLAD, MLAD and other local funds and sale of led bulbs at subsidies price to all households in all districts of west Bengal, Chairperson of KBSK, said.
The Chairperson revealed that apart from joining hands with the Society, KBSK has also collaborated with the All India Youth Welfare Society of New Delhi for conducing survey of all households at village panchyats level in all districts of West Bengal under the scheme of Ministry of Statistic and Programme Implementation. The purpose of conducting extensive survey is to collect actual data base of households and after which government can make plans for their development in this program KBSK involve his all 4300 plus members and the task would be taken at war level in the next two months.
Meanwhile, Mr. S. Datt, Advisor of the KBSK said that the society is also making tie up with officials of Rural housing division in the Ministry of Rural Development to get financial support for training under IAY scheme to give masions skill training to the BPL families whose houses approved in the current financial yearin all districts of the West Bengal.
Elaborating further on the role of KBSK, chairperson said, “In fact, this was the sole voluntary organisation to turn those ambitious 20-point developmental programmes into a reality across in West Bengal.” He added, “Our prime concern during all these years had been to provide responsive, corruption free and transparent administration to the people.” He also said that the society is bound to scale to new heights in every sphere of development with team work.
