Kraigg Brathwaite Opens New Test Record


Sharjah: 2007 Last time West Indies won an away Test – excluding Bangladesh and Zimbabwe against South Africa in Port Elizabeth. This was only their third such win since 2000. The other was against England at Edgbaston in 2000. They lost 56 of the 76 away Tests against top-eight teams since 2000.

One opening batsmen to remain not out in both innings of a Test – Kraigg Brathwaite became the first to achieve this. He carried the bat scoring unbeaten 142 in the first innings and another 60 not out in the chase.
