Kolkata: Kolkata police will send relief assistance to the Kerala flood victims on Monday. Already six mini trucks with relief assistance reached to the airport and after that a special aircraft will reach the relief assistance to the flood victims.
The six mini trucks entered the Dumdum International airport with the help of NSCBI police station and CISF. Earlier, West Bengal government will contribute Rs 10 crore to the Kerala Chief Ministers relief fund in the wake of the recent rain-fed floods in Kerala.
Mamata Banerjee also said that the state was willing to extend all form of assistance and support to the Kerala government to deal with the current flood situation there.
In rain battered Kerala, nearly 360 died so far and More than 200,000 families have taken refuge at relief camps. Total 58 groups of national disaster worked there to rescue the flood affected victims. Sixty seven helicopters, twenty four air-crafts and five hundreds forty eight boats are present to there to rescue.
