Kolkata lads steal the show in ICSE and ISC

Kolkata:The ICSE and ISC Board had declared the results of the 2015 examination on Monday. Recreating the proud moment of all Kolkatans, Arka Chatterjee secured the first place in the ISC examination from Kolkata with a massive score of 99.75 per cent. After almost five years, a student claimed the first place in the twelfth standard from the City Of Joy. He was a student of Vivekananda Missions School in Kolkata.

On the other hand, the student who jointly claimed the first place in the ICSE hails from St. Xavier’s Collegiate School in Kolkata. Sougata Chowdhury secured a score of 99.25 per cent. The results were announced by the board at around 11.30 am in the morning. The percentage of passed student in ISCE is 98.49 per cent and 96.28 per cent in ISC. Although the Southern states have faired well in the exams, the Kolkata lads have stolen the show in the results. The no.of girls passed in the exams are however more than the total number of boys passed.
