Kolkata in Al-Qaeda Radar, Alert Sounded


New Delhi: Intelligence Department today announced the possible Al-Quaeda threat in metro cities like Kolkata and others.

Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, have also been put on high alert after intelligence input of a possible strike by terrorist group al-Qaeda.

Intelligence input said al-Qaeda may target tourist spots and places of worship in these cities. States have been told to take precautionary measures.
