Kolkata To Get Night Bus & Tram Services From Wednesday


Kolkata: Kolkata is going to get special night bus and tram service which will run all through the night Starting from Wednesday. The service will be inaugurated by West Bengal transport minister Subhendu Adhikary at the state bus terminus near Howrah railway station.

The service having a fleet of 25 new buses and 2 trams will be available from 10pm to 5am. According to the state transport department the service has been started so that the people of the city can avail bus and tram during nights.

Initially 25 buses will be available for the service but later the number of buses will be increased. The bus and tram service will cover some important places in Kolkata, such as railway stations, airport and big hospitals.
