New Delhi: Nokia phones manufacturing HMD Global recently unveiled five smartphones at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The company also came up with a revamped version of Nokia 8110 a 4G enabled feature phone which has its own play store and apps like Google Assistant, Facebook, Google Maps, Twitter and even a new version of Snake.
If prices of both smartphones are concerned then JioPhone costs Rs 1500 while Nokia 8110 will be priced at EUR 79 which roughly calculated around Rs 6300.
The Nokia 8110 4G is powered by a 1.1Ghz dual-core Qualcomm 205 mobile processor paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card. For photography, it sports a 2-megapixel camera at the back and a 1,500mAh battery. As per the company, the Banana phone can last up to 25 hours on standby and 9.32 hours of talk time on a 4G VoLTE connection.
Since its a 4G enabled feature phone people have already started comparing it Reliance JioPhone as both feature phones have some similarities and some differences. So here’s a little comparison between both the feature phones.
If compared with the JioPhone, Reliance 4G feature phone is powered by the Qualcomm 205 mobile processor paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of onboard storage which is expandable with a microSD card. On the camera front, JioPhone sports a 2-megapixel camera at back and 0.3-megapixel front camera, which is not present in the Banana phone.
On the battery front, JioPhone has a larger battery of 2,000mAh capacity that promises to deliver up to 48 hours of battery life. JioPhone runs on KaiOS while Nokia 8110 has its own store that will allow users to use Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps, Google Assistant and even a revamped version of Snake while JioPhone has introduced Facebook and Google Assistant feature a few weeks ago.
Apart from the Facebook, JioPhone also comes with JioApps like JioTV, JioMusic, JioExpress, JioCinema, JioMessaging and Jio Video Call which Nokia 8119 lacks.
