Killer flu claimes more life in Country


Gandhinagar: The deadly Swine Flu is taking a sinister turn across the country with each passing day. Twelve more people have died of swine flu in Gujarat, taking the death toll to a total of 136 since January this year.

Maharashtra suffered eight more deaths on Saturday with the toll rising to a total of 51. Among the worst-affected cities, Pune recorded 145 cases followed by Nagpur which recorded 117 cases.

Swine Flu cases are continuously on a rise, although government has initiated stringent measures to contain the deadly disease. Mumbai alone has recorded 90 cases so far.
