Bengaluru: The prime accused in the Khagragarh blast case, Kausar, has been
arrested by the NIA from Ramanagar in Bengaluru.
Prior to this, Abdul Karim and Mustafijur Rahman, accused on Bodh Gaya balst case,
were arrested on Aug 3 from Kerala’s Malppuram, as informed by NIA. They were
produced in the court on Monday. Circut designs of IDs and other several things
were recovered from them.
Kausar was hiding at several places from West Bengal to Bengaluru. Acting on a tip
off, NIA and Intelligence bureau arrested him from Karnataka’s Ramnagar.
On 2 October 2014 an explosion occurred in a house in the Khagragarh locality of
Burdwan. Two suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorists were killed and a third
injured. The police seized 55 improvised explosive devices, RDX, wrist watch dials
and SIM cards.
