New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday removed cabinet minister Sandeep Kumar after Kejriwal received an “objectionable” video of the minister.
In light of the information that he received in a CD, the Delhi Chief Minister informed his followers on Twitter that the party stands for propriety in public life, and as such Kumar is being removed from the Cabinet with immediate effect to uphold the standards of the party.
Reports suggest that the CD accessed by the Delhi CM exposes Kumar in a compromising position.
Sandeep Kumar is the minister for Social Welfare, Women and Child, SC and ST, Language and was previously involved with Anna Hazare and his team in the Movement of ‘India Against Corruption’.
Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in a press conference said that the party has zero tolerance against any kind of corruption, crime or any such act from its leaders.
