Kathua Gangrape Protests: Tution Centres Closed For 90 days

Srinagar: Kashmir’s Education Minister Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday ordered the closure of all private tuition centres in the valley for 90 days.

Bukhari made this announcement during a meeting with principals of higher secondary schools, chief and zonal education officers.

“Report should go to the concerned district administration as well. All coaching centres will remain closed for the next 90 days,” education minister was quoted as saying.

It is worth mentioning that during this year’s academic calendar, most of the times either authorities closed educational institutes or they remained closed due to student agitations in Kashmir.
