Karnataka Election: PM Modi, Sonia Gandhi To Hold Rallies On Tuesday


Bengaluru: All the political parties contesting are on mission mode to gain as much ground as possible in Silicon Valley of India. BJP, Congress and JDS all are in fighting mode to gain the ground. Karnataka Assembly election 2018 is just four days away. PM Narendra Modi held a mass rally in Bijaypura and also to hold a rally at Koppala and Bengaluru.

UPA chairperson and former Congress president Sonia Gandhi will also be holding a rally today. It will be her first election rally in nearly 2 years. Congress president Rahul Gandhi and BJP chief Amit Shah will also continue with their respective campaigns in the state.

Sonia Gandhi held her last mass rally in 2016 on UP Assembley election campaign. So, this time her engagement in this election campaign is very much important for party workers.
The prime minister has already done 14 rallies in the run-up to the state elections till Monday.

He has so far focused on urban poor issues, rally for a ‘New Bengaluru’ in line with his New India slogan, farmer issues, special attention to Congress strongholds, and channelizing anger against the Gandhis, whose appeal is limited in most rural pockets of the state.
