Kandi turns violent over distribution of TET forms


Berhampore: The United Bank of India area of Kandi in Murshidabad wore the look of a battlefield on Saturday, after TET candidates came to collect the forms from far off places and stood queue for a long time since morning.

At 10 Am they were informed that no more tokens will be distributed following which the candidates went furious and ransacked the bank premises. Personnel from Kandi Police station arrived at the spot and brought the situation under control.

A huge contingent of police force was deployed at the spot following which the distribution of forms started again. Many candidates also fell ill due to the incident.
