Juventus slide past the Dortmund test

Rome: Juventus beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at their home ground on Tuesday in the first leg of their Champions League round-of-16 clash. The result ensures everything is still to play for when the two teams meet at Signal Iduna Park in the second leg. Tevez and Morata scored for Juventus whearas Reus scored for the visitors.

The Bundesliga outfit controlled possession for large stretches, but the better chances fell to the hosts, and ultimately, the 2-1 score was fair. With this win, the Italian side will have an extra inch while taking the grounds against the German brigade in their home ground.
