Several animal rights activists have come forward with the motto for the noble cause of showing compassion for several other abandoned animals in our society.

Earlier, an FIR was lodged at Thakurpukur police station against a businessman Niladri Chatterjee who allegedly hit the dog brutally after being drunk on Sunday night 21st October

Later, Niladri surrendered himself and was released on bail, in his confession he has said that he has hit the dog for self-defense. The innocent dog ‘Bhuto’ was rescued and treated at ASHARI by some animal rights activists who turned to be savior for him.

While talking to Kolkata2x7 Niladri’s family has earlier claimed that some of their family members are misusing the dog issue out of personal grudge. And trying to defame their family good will.

They have also filed a PIL at Lalbazaar cyber cell against the violation of posting the pictures of some family members who have nothing to do with the incident. Cyber cell of Lalbazar has started there investigation regarding this. But, amid this a social storm has sparked to give justice to ‘Bhuto’.
