Judge hearing Madan’s plea refuses to continue

Kolkata: The High Court Jugde who was hearing the bail plea of jailed Minister Madan Mitra, has relieved herself off the duties. She has cited personal reasons behind her decision to quit the case. Justice Indira Bandopadhay while announcing her decision said, “I was invited to a function at the house of the accused. But I didn’t go there. I am moving away from the case due to personal reasons.”

The hearing of the bail plea of Madan Mitra will be delayed and now will be transferred to a division bench following the decision of the judge.
