Journalist covering Vyapam scam dies in mysterious circumstances


Jhabua: A journalist of a Delhi-based news channel on Saturday suddenly fell ill and died after having interviewing parents of a girl who had been found dead near railway tracks after her name figured in the infamous Vyapam scam of Madhya Pradesh.

The incident took place in Meghnagar near Jhabua.  Akshay Singh, had on Saturday interviewed the parents of Namrata Damor, whose body had been found under mysterious circumstances near railway tracks in Ujjain district.

While waiting outside the house of Damor, he suddenly started frothing from the mouth and was taken civil hospital and later to a private hospital. He was then taken to another hospital near Dahod where he was declared broght dead.

Vyapam scam is one of the massive admission and recruitment scam which involves several politicians and bureaucrats. The opposition Congress has demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
