New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), currently making it to the headlines for anti-India activities has again stirred controversy by announcing a scholarship for students for developing innovative ‘Anti-India’ slogans.
A scholarship of Rs. 4 Lakh will be provided each year to the student, whose slogan will draw the maximum amount of criticism from RSS and BJP, said JNU officials.
The scholarship programme has sparked widespread condemnation from different section of society except the ‘SECULARS” who supported the move by quoting constitution.
“The constitution has provide people the right to express his opinion and so shouting anti-India slogans is our birth right” said secular Asaduddin Owaisi.
On the other hand, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has demanded ‘Bharat Ratna’ for Owaisi for his immense role in championing constitution and defending the nation against terror outfit like RSS.
“People like Owaisi are the true sons of mother India and had immense contribution in thwarting RSS’s terror agenda and Modi, he is the fittest person for Bharat Ratna”, said Rahul Gandhi.
On the other hand JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar has demanded that Jammu and Kashmir should be handed over to Pakistan and the north-eastern states of Manipur and Arunachal to China.
Kanhaiya threatened to launch an agitation unless his demands are fulfilled. He will also address students in Hyderabad university where he is likely to demand the restoration of Nizam rule.
