Jharkhand Minister Won’t Tolerate Biswa Bangla Logo On Massanjore Welcome Board

Suri: ‘Color Politics’ in Massanjore has reached the peak and turning into a cold war. Social Welfare minister of Jharkhand Dr Louis Marandi said that welcome board carrying West Bengal logo wouldn’t be allowed in Jharkhand. The color will be changed to ‘White-Red’ from ‘Blue-White’.

The tussle over color started decades ago. The West Bengal sticker has been removed from the welcome board and Jharkhand has been scratched over there. But again the logo revomed and a sticker holding West Bengal name stamped over there. So the clash jumped into another layer.

The Social Welfare Minister of Jharkhand said on this issue, “there will no board carrying West Bengal name.” He added, “We’ll go to any extent in this issue and we’ll fight on this.” The Massanjore Dam is a old-decade mark which is carrying many history, it carries emotion of the local people. He said, “the color has to get changed in Red-White.”

The beautification work is on hold now. No development happend after District Magistrate of Birbhum and Dumka held a administrative talk. The comment of the minister has just added an assertive note in this ongoing tussle.
