Jhargram: The Muktidhara Scheme to provide training to unemployed youth in hospitality management has started by the Self-Help Group and Self- Employment Department .
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee carved Jhargram into a new district to fast-track development, and the results are for all to see now. The district has also become a major tourist hub of Bengal. Hence, the hospitality management training by the State Government would be of great help.
The first batch of 28 youths is being trained in Gopiballavpur-II block. More unemployed youths will be given training in the future.The implementation of the programme has been started by the district administration of Jhargram. Different organisations will be providing the training.
The youths are being given training on the preparation of various dishes, table decoration and how to behave with the clients. According to the State Government official, the trainees are showing great interest in the preparation of dishes.
A senior State Government official said the trainees will be given both practical and theoretical training for a period of one month, and the entire cost will be borne by the government.
