Srinagar: Chief of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Maulana Masood Azhar has mocked the ceasefire announced by the Indian government. Azhar has said that ceasefire in Kashmir has left open space for JeM.
While terrorist organisation Jaish e Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility for multiple attacks in Jammu and Kashmir this week, the chief of JeM Maulana Masood Azhar has mocked the ceasefire announced by the Indian government. Azhar has said the Indian government was forced to declare ceasefire in Kashmir out of compulsion and it has left open space for JeM. In an audio clip released by JeM, Masood Azhar is heard addressing a gathering.
According to intelligence sources, “Azhar has been stationed in Pakistan’s Bahawalpur, where he is training new recruits under a new programme, which started on May 1st earlier this year.
Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a series of terrorist attacks on Friday and Saturday where multiple CRPF soldiers were injured. JeM has claimed responsibility for these attacks.
