Kolkata: The Joint Entrance Examination will be held on May 5 and 6 instead of April 18. According to reports, the State Government had pleaded to the Election Commission to hold the Municipal Elections on the eighteenth day of April. But as the day was pre-scheduled for the JEE, the Election Commission did not give the nawd to the State Government. The Municipal Affairs Minister Firhad Hakim had even talked to the Election Commission in regard to the changing of dates.
As per reports, the JEE has been rescheduled to May 5 and 6. As a result of which there lies no difficulty in holding the Municipal Election on April 18.
