Patna: The Janata Dal(United) is reported to be not taking any chances in the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls and may replace CM Jitan Ram Manjhi with former CM Nitish Kumar.
Reports stated that the party is not too happy with Manjhi with JD(U) leader Vashistha Narayan Singh admitting that there is a growing distance between the CM and some of his cabinet colleagues and he should take steps to bridge the gap. He said, “Manjhi should take initiative to bridge the gap between him and the ministers since he is the CM.”
According to reports, Nitish Kumar is likely to meet party MLAs and some senior leaders to discuss about the transfer of power.
RJD has also given a clean chit to the JD(U) leadership in this regard with party Sharad Yadav meeting Lalu who said that he has no objection if JD(U) wants to bring back Nitish back to the chair.
