Janata Parties merger ‘Unethical’


Patna: BJP President Amit Shah today called the merger of Janata Parivaar parties as ‘unethical’. He said that his party was not bothered as people would reject them in the coming Bihar Assembly Polls.

Speaking to reporters Shah said, “Both Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar all along fought against Congress. Nitish Kumar in league with BJP fought against Lalu Prasad for 17 years and now they all are joining hands. For this I called it unethical.”

It is Shah’s First visit to Bihar after assuming the charge as the Party President. He said that his party would win more than 185 seats in the 243 member Bihar Legislative Assembly.

When asked about the possible Chief Minister Candidiate for the Bihar polls Shah said that the Party’s Parliamentary Board would decide on whether to project anybody and if yes then whom.”

He said, “When a good Government comes everything will be given to Bihar.”

He also said that he had given a target of 75 Lakh members to be included in the BJP unit out of the countrywide target of 10 crore.
