Jagmohan Dalmiya’s grandson beats up police


Kolkata: After the niece of Kolkata Mayor Shovan Chattterjee, BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya’s grandson gets himself into trouble by beating up a policeman at Avishikta on Wednesday. According to reports, Dalmiya’s grandson, Aditya Dalmiya had parked his car in a no-parking spot at the Avishikta area of Kolkata. As the traffic guard approached and asked his driver to move from there, the car took a U-turn which was also against the traffic rule at the area. AS the traffic police protested on violating the rule, Aditya himself took up he situation and said that he was the grandson of Jagmohan Dalmiya and disregarded the on duty police personnel.

The traffic guard summoned the East Jadavpur Traffic Guard to settle the issue. But Aditya disregarded the senior officer, Sanjay Pramanick, and broke the walkie talkie showing his disgust. Seeing this, an SI came up to settle the issue. But now, Aditya took a step forward and started beating up the police. The other officers gathered around the spot and tried to seperate them.

The police have detained Aditya for his misconduct. It is heard that Aditya is aged 15. Hence, he had to be produced at the Juvenile Court. If he is not produced before the court on Wednesday, he will be kept under custody and will taken to the court on Thursday, added the sources.
