ITBP recruitment process begins for 500 Inspector post


The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)  has released a recruitment notification, inviting eligible and interested candidates to fill up 500 positions of Inspector on transfer on deputation/re-employment basis. The vacancies are subjected to change (increase or decrease) at any stage.

The period of deputation shall ordinary be for 3 years which can be extended . However, due to administrative reasons one can be repatriated before completion of tenure.

Educational qualification:

Inspector (General Duty) in analogous scale from other Central Para Military Forces or Central Police Organisations or State Government Police Organizations

Age limit:

The maximum age of the candidate must not exceed 52 years.

Selection procedure

A written exam and an interview would be conducted to shortlist and select the candidates.

Pay scale

The selected candidates would be getting a remuneration of Rs 9300 to Rs 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4600.
