New Delhi: The Centre on Tuesday alleged that Pakistan intelligence agencies like the ISI are spying on Indian Security Forces with the help of mobile Apps.

In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, Minister of State for Home, Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary said these agencies are spying by sending malwares, which damage the system in the mobile apps.

These malwares are related to game, music, video and entertainment apps. Chaudhary said the country’s security forces have been sensitized about such dubious applications on smart phones.

He also said that the government has also circulated computer security guidelines to all ministries to prevent such cyber attacks.

Chaudhary alleged that Pakistan’s spy agency was making efforts to trap ex-servicemen in the garb of providing job opportunities and financial aid for spying.

He said that seven ex-servicemen have been arrested for espionage activities for the neighbouring country since 2013 to till date.
