IS Crucifies Indian Priest On Good Friday

Sana: New York: Indian priest Thomas Uzhunnalil, who was reportedly abducted by a terror group in March this year, was crucified by Islamic State (ISIS) on Good Friday in Yemen, a report published in Washington Times said.

The Catholic priest, who was working at Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity, was abducted in a raid conducted by the militants at an old age home in Yemen in early this month.

Father Uzhunnalil was a native of India and had been the object of both prayers and diplomatic efforts since the March 4 raid where 16 Christian nuns and nurses were killed.

Bishop Paul Hinder, who heads the Catholic Church in Yemen, said the Missionaries home had been the object of numerous threats but they refused to leave.
