New Delhi: IRCTC has come up with its all new Cash on Delivery scheme for customers who are booking online ticket and make the payment at home when the ticket gets delivered.

By introducing the scheme IRCTC is targeting those customers who are reluctant to use credit or debit cards, as well as those who don’t have the net banking facility.

“One has to just book the ticket online and payments will be made at the time of delivery of tickets,” said a senior IRCTC official.

The service has been launched in an introductory basis and will initially be available in more than 200 cities where customers can book a ticket five days prior to the commencement of Journey.
