Ankara: A midibus veered off a cliff in Turkey’s southwestern province of Muğla on Saturday, leaving 20 passengers dead and 11 others wounded.
The midibus was carrying domestic tourists.
The bus had travelled from the western city of Izmir, the governor told reporters in televised comments.
The minibus rolled off a precipice on the Muğla-Antalya highway.
Safety personnel, fire fighters and teams from the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) were dispatched to the scene.
Rescue operations are still underway.
