Indrani, Shyam remanded to 14 days of judicial custody


Mumbai: Indrani Mukherjea has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody on Monday in connection with the murder of his daughter Sheena Bora. Her driver Shyam Rai was also sent to seven days of Judicial custody.  Indrani’s ex-husband and the third prime accused in the case Sanjeev Khanna has been taken to Kolkata for further questioning and probe.

Indrani was on Sunday taken to her residence in Worli, apparently to connect a few “remaining dots” in the murder mystery.

 She was taken to her fourth floor residence and is believed to have also been taken to her garage where which, according to police is the place where Sheena’s body was kept on the day she was killed. The three accused have been arrested on charges of murdering Sheena and disposing of the body in a Raigad forest in April 2012.
