Indrani Mukherjee Suspected to have Dengue in Jail


New Delhi: The prime suspect in Sheena Bora murder case, Indrani Mukherjee is suspected to have dengue fever. Jail authorities have informed the court that Mukherjee has been suffering from dengue for the past seven days.  After her checkup, doctors from JJ hospital will take a call on if she needs to be hospitalised.

“We have informed the court that Mukherjee is suffering from suspected dengue and her platelet levels have gone down to 65,000,” a jail official said. He further said that doctors from JJ hospital are attending to Indrani in the prison, and if it’s imperative to admit her to hospital, then she will be taken there.

Indrani, Khanna and Rai have been arrested on the charge of murdering 24-year-old Sheena and disposing off her body in a Raigad forest in April 2012.
