Chennai: An Indigo passenger bus caught fire at the Chennai International airport on Friday morning. The bus was returning after dropping passengers to board the flight.
No casualties were reported as there were no passengers in the bus during the mishap.
However, the driver of the bus is reported to have suffered with minor burns and bruises.
The fire staff rushed to the spot to control the fire possibly due to fuel leakage. The incident occurred in wake of deadly fire at Mumbai building which killed fourteen people on Friday.
A Thiruvananthpuram bound Indigo flight suffered a fuel leak recently at Delhi airport which caused the flight to return with 170 passengers on board.
