Indian Army Jawans Celebrates Holi At International Border

Srinagar: Despite Guns roaring on either sides and without their near and dear ones there, Army Jawans made merry to celebrate the festival of colours on Friday.

Jawans admitted to miss their families but said serving their country is more important. To symbolise the victory of good over evil, jawans also burnt pyres. There have been nine ceasefire violations in the past three days, with Pakistani Army trying every way possible to dampen the festivities in India on the occasion of Holi.

However, Pakistani shells have failed to shatter the spirits of our soldiers at the border. “We will give Pakistan a befitting reply. We are there to face their bullets and make them bite the dust,” Jawans said.
