India Wins First ODI Against New Zealand

Dharamsala: India defeats New Zealand by six wickets in first one-day international match at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium on Sunday.

Test Captain Virat Kohli finishes off in style with a maximum with his own 85 runs. India won by 6 wickets. Virat Kohli finishes things off in style, dancing down the track, to hit it back over Sodhi’s head, and over the ropes. It was so perfectly hit by the vice-captain, that the ball rammed into the sight screen.

Kohli made 85 not out in 81 balls with 9 fours and 1 six as MS Dhoni’s men chased down the target in 33.1 overs. India lost Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane early but maintained a good run-rate. Kohli took charge from there on and steadily took the team towards victory.
