India should also violate ceasefire: Sena

Mumbai: Slamming Pakistan over its provocative activities on the LOC and repeated ceasefire violation, Shiv Sena said India should also breach ceasefire across the LOC to teach Pakistan a lesson

“In 2013, Pakistan indulged in ceasefire violations 347 times and the number went up to 562 in 2014. As many as 32,000 people living along the border areas had to leave their homes to find shelter elsewhere,” it said in its editorial mouthpiece ‘Saamana’.
The saffron party said that Pakistan’s economic condition is going from bad to worse with each passing day and the country is only known for living on the financial assistance provided by the USA.

“Pakistan’s condition as a nation has become grim. The terror that Pakistan grew in its backyard to attack India is now destroying it. Terror activities have come down significantly in India, but it is like an everyday affair in Pakistan,” it said.

On Monday, Pakistani troops had violated the ceasefire by firing automatic weapons and rocket projectile grenades on forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

On the other hand, Pakistan has once again claimed that Kashmir is a disputed territory. Pakistani Army tweeted on Wednesday that Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the United Nations resolutions.

“Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of partition,Pak &Kashmir are inseparable. While we wish peace, stability in region,we want Kashmir’s Just Resolution in the light of UN resolutions & as per aspirations of Kashmiris to bring lasting peace in region,” tweeted Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa quoting Army chief General Raheel Sharif.
